I agree about supporting valve. My issue was that them releasing L4D2 so soon would make my copy of the first one pretty much useless because everybody has moved on the the next one and I LOVE the levels in the first one. It's like buying nhl, you only get a year out of it, when the mechanics should let you get much more than that.
That being said, LONG LIVE VALVE! The last great developer!

@cocoro6 Well i heard that Valve talked to them, explained the situation and some of them probably understood that and decided to buy L4D2. I don't know though.

Alot of the people who were boycotting in the first place preordered L4D2 anyway.

The l4d2 so called boycott was probably the saddest thing I've ever seen. Here's my summary of it: A bunch of fools thought that Valve was ripping them off. So, then they decided to round up some of there equally foolish friends and ATTEMPT to start a boycott. For the most part, Valve simply ignored the boycotters and continued their production of the game. The game came out on schedule, and 95% percent of the boycotters ended up buying the game the day it came out.
