how can i make a 3d floor above deep water ?
-
i used to use db1, then i tried db2.. i wasn't too sure about it, but then i made a few maps on it, fooled around with the interface, and i noticed that it is very similar to db1 yet it is improved. I am now just using db2 now. but i noticed one thing... the thing objects were round instead of square in the 2d mode. you can change this by going into tools>preferences>appearance, and check mark the square that says square things. :)

Hi
Did you know anything about Creating And Adding custom Sky?
ProKeyWriter 6 months ago
@ProKeyWriter Yes, I'll be making a tutorial on how to add/define a custom sky texture soon, but it's pretty simple, you essentially just load the sky texture into your PWAD and in your MAPINFO lump (or ZMAPINFO for you ZDoomers such as myself) you define the sky texture there, I'll be sure to PM you when the tut comes out, and if you haven't already, subscribe :)

your using db2 now?

@janmnm12 Not quite - I just feel bad for all of the Windows Vista/7 users who couldn't learn from my DB1 tutorials 100% of the time because some of the things, linedef actions, and other various shit were moved around or different, and a lot of people who used DB2 were having trouble, so I'm making all of my tuts in DB2 as well.

a thing to add colour in the water sector is to place a fadesetter or colorsetter in the dummy sector
its in category sector actions

@crashthepopularkids thanks for that! I still have yet to learn my way around DB2, but that's half the reason I'm making these video tutorials, because when I prepare myself to do a certain tutorial, I pretty much force myself to have to learn my way around the new client lol.
