  • Love Renne, She must winning is CHICAGO

  • She rants on and on but it's sooo cute. She's so genuine and real, def one of my favorite female actresses

  • renee is awesome in this movie she deserved the oscar!, keep it up !

  • @icklerob Haha no, she said that kindness and success are NOT mutually exclusive, meaning the two co-exist, and Cruise demonstrates both.

  • @InsubordinationFreak According to Wikipedia - In layman's terms, two events are mutually exclusive if they cannot occur at the same time - So, by that definition, I think she was saying that Tom Cruise demonstrates that he is successful but not kind?

  • Holly Hunter was robbed. Well, I suppose she already has an OSCAR so they said they'd dish another out to someone else. But all the same, it should have went to Patricia Clarkson, if not Holly. Stiff competition. Still, not near as bad as the time they gave Witherspoon an OSCAR for Walk The Line over Felicity Huffman for Transamerica. Such injustice.

  • I Love her!

She's brilliant! she's great on Cold Mountain as Ruby! She deserv it!

  • Was she insulting Tom Cruise? "Thank you for showing me that kindness and success are not mutually exclusive." I thought Renee was terrible in 'Cold Mountain', but she is stunning in other roles like Cinderella Man, Bridget Jones, and especially The Whole Wide World (with D'onofrio whom she shouted out in that speech), so I can't help but love her and try to check out everything she's in. When she's good, there are few better. She also seems really gracious, thinking only of others.

  • 1:20-1:29 Oprah's akward applause...
