I guess the title says it all...except to remind everyone that there is no overdubbing on the recording, it really is just one dulcimer and two hammers. Check out the website at - www.jemmoore.com - and check out the rest of my videos here on youtube.

  • Man, I'm inspired that I was inspiring! You never really know where the ripples go, but it's good to hear a little bit...

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks so much for the kind words, it's nice to know I was able to inspire someone to play HD, not to mention saving up for one :) I want to hear examples, though, so send me a link!

  • I want this played at my funeral. its just so soulfull, better than the original guitar renditions i have ever heard.

  • @phcoh thanks for the comment, I'm glad that the music moved you, I just hope any funeral performances are many decades away...

  • bravo maestro!!

  • Thank you for the inspiration- I'm another one you inspired to pick up this instrument and give it a try! I mainly use it as an 'accompany' instrument when singing, but its great fun. Thank you for all the wonderful music! ~Cathy C. / AKA- Lorelei Skye

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Beautiful! Thank you.

  • Beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Jem, thank you so much for this. You have been blessed with a rare depth of musical feeling.

  • I would always ask Jem to play this piece every year that I saw him at Art Street in Green Bay, WI. I heard him (and a HD) for the first time when I was about 13, and fell in love so quickly I bought my own HD with my own summer savings just a few years later! This is still my favorite piece of his. But you're right ipninews, it's even better in person!
