Block is the same (FE), only the pistons are different. If you have a 929 Coupe Injection (2,0 litre, 120 HP), you can chance it as it is (block and head)
On your car, you have to raise the passenger seat a little bit (with the adjusting screws), so that the inlet manifold fits. And you need a good place for your airfilter. I put it in front of the watercooler, and changed the cooling fan to an electrical one.
the 929 engine huh? mine has jsut the normal one and i have gotten it to 160 twice. but i welded up a big bore exhaust onto it it given me a bit more of top end. was it easy to drop in and did you get a difference out of it?
The car is a camper, weights about 2,5 tons, and has a high roof (don´t know what it is called correctly.) With the stock carburettor-engine it drove 130, now 155.
Engine itself was easy to change, only the harness took a litte while to finish.
say me how change this engine

Exhaust system is identical.
