Pat Sajak, best known as host of the American game show, Wheel of Fortune, was the afternoon air personality on WSM radio in Nashville in the early-mid 70s, where he also did weather on sister television station, Channel 4. Here's a fine snippet of his afternoon radio show on the big 50,000 watt WSM radio 650 from 1975. Note: WSM's format was full-service adult contemporary during the day and only country at night until 1980, when it went full-time country.
It's weird hearing that type of music coming from WSM. I know it wasn't always an all country station, but it just seems weird.

Actually, it's "Do The Hustle," and yeah, odd to hear it on the country music mecca of the universe, WSM.

Interesting to hear "Do The Shuffle", a disco icon, on WSM after being used to listening to legendary country and the Grand Ole Opry on this station.
