1940's Hair-Reverse Victory Rolls

Tutorial for a key style of the 1940's, the victory roll. Once you master the roll (take some time and be patient), you can try alternate versions of the look by aiming the roll backwards instead of up so it looks like it's laying flat against your head, doing just one and leaving the other side loose, etc. Add flowers (like the Vargas print at the beginning) or other accessories...most of all, have fun!

@Rozalyable Long thick hair isnt really compatible with authentic vintage styles...but there are girls who do similar styles here on YT.

@TheAlexandraRaven I love how people assume they know me by watching this five minute, sped up, and silent video. :) THe pouting thing is something I naturally do when I'm thinking and have done since I was about 2 years old. It isnt likely to be something I can 'fix' based on yours or anyone els's comments. I'm here to teach...my pout it just something ya'll will have to deal with. :)

this was the first hairstyle i ever taught myself to do (wen i was 14)...i actually find other rolls hard to do cos my hands keep trying to do this lol

HEE HEE....I haven't watched this video in a while. It is SO weird to see you with blonde hair again. I had forgotten that it was blonde when you first started doing these. Oh, and I miss the "ghost" (baby) opening and shutting the door all the time in the vid's. LOL
