It's pretty embarassing how he just blatantly regurgitates it during the community meeting. None of them are going to understand and it's all so elementary to begin with.

The reason he sounds british is cause he's talking with a ghetto accent.
How do the two correlate?
British people also don't fully prenounce the 'r' in desire. They kind of say it like "dee-si-yuh'.
Ghetto accent kind of has the same thing going on, too, alhough the r is a little bit more prominent.
Anyway, it's funny to see how people more accustomed to British accent hear british, while people who are used to ghetto accent think it's just fine.
