We also have this album. One of the best Christmas albums ever. We play it every Christmas season. Lew sounds so great on this one. Of course he sounded great no matter what he sang. What a treasure they are. I will never get tired of listening to the Statlers.

this is the song that portrays so much of Christmas that has been lost to so many of us, because of commercialism, loss of Christ in Christmas, and political correctness. I wish for the Christmas of the past.

My grandma always played this song while making Christmas cookies, and now so my mom and I. We will always carry on the tradition...

yep, this is always the first Christmas music I play to get all "Christmassy" for the season. It doesn't get any better than the Statlers.

A favorite album for me. I had the LP and bought the CD as soon as it came out....it isn't Christmas until this album is heard! God Bless the Statler Brothers.

My mother taught me that Christmas was about love. In all it's forms. Forms which are so beautifully described in these words. This Christmas will be a little bluer for me, because she will not be here to share it with me. I play this song in memory of her, I only wish I could have found the Statler's "For Momma" from their "Christmas Present" album to play for her. Merry Christmas, momma.
