"Called" in the Bible also means "invited" (in Greek), and that explanation is vital to understand The book of Revelation. You are invited to be a part of the supper at the wedding in the Bible. Also see Rev. 17:14 - if you are with Him, you are called, chosen and faithful.

So if you are a saint you are called, and if you are chosen you are a favorite and elected. As the Greek words says.
