Bob Seger did write this song, released in '78. Must have been a similar named song on that '66 album--Pitney only did it as a cover in 1990.

I guess Segar didn't write it. He must have been pretty young in '66.

I thought Bob Segar had written this song..but was on a gene pitney album in 1966? Can anybody clear this up?
