Dejavu gets stuck at lift hill at Six Flags Magic Mountain

I had heard for years that Dejavu constantly broke down or I would hear from friends that Dejavu was closed because it had broken down. I had seen it first hand when Dejavu got stuck going up the second lift hill. Maintenance arrived about 10 minutes later and had to reset the ride. Taken July 30th, 2008

I'm surprised at how little this ride breaks down now. But still, it's probably why they only have it open for half the year.

omg the deja vu that used to be at sfgam was broken alllll of the time everytime i tried to go on it the thing broke

haha. i went to six flags today, sat in the very back of deja vu, on the sides, obviously cause theyre the best seats...we go back and right before we hit the top, it just stops. i felt secure in the harness but still pretty freaky being stuck up there for about 10 minutes. the maintenance guys were just walking to fix it, they had no worries as we were dangling up there and waving to people down below lol

i went yesterday and 2 cycles b4 i got on it broke down. and last year i was on it and it broke down. this ride is great but breeaks down too much

nothing fresh here then its opening was put off for about 5 months cause of problems like that an not engaging at all on the seconds lift spike an then valleying in the cobra roll

That was hurting the riders i bet. It hurts a bit just being there for a few seconds.
