Dark Storm Clouds 11/17/10

Powerful Tstorms with small tornadoes rocked parts of NJ and upstate NY...same morning I videotaped these real dark skies the same morning......back on 11/17/10....and you'll also hear my reminiscing past-Tstorms I had on 11/17 in years gone by as well.

@awesomelightning ~~~>Good to hear, my Tstorm-video bud..TYSVM for watching and commenting...BTW..there was lightning with the snow on 12/26/10..but my place didn't get any...Well....FLA can have big Tstorms even in mid-winter..as on 2/14/07..huge Tstorms pounded Tampa and even Orlando FL.... and back on 2/22/98...major killer tornadoes stuck many parts of central FLA...maybe your folks remember those tornadoes. Anyways...I'm all set to videotape Tsotrms later this spring and add to YouTube.

I saw a shelf cloud that morning, actually I was in the shelf cloud at 1300 ft above sea level.

@tommythunderhead ~~~>That's so very right, Tom...your place did exhibit some awesome shelf clouds and I really enjoyed seeing your own video of that same morning....although it was collder up there than down here when it was a good 60 degrees here when my video was being made.

@LuvsTstormTapes ... and in 3 days three nites I will be heading back, and then I can check my marked calendar that day... it was when there was a super-cell like storm... i recall it was on openhouse day (it AAAAALLLWWWAAAYYS seems to rain on open house night) and in francais class in the portables they held us back because of all the lightning and the downpour... le éclair... il fait orgeaux.... and i needed to pee and the kids... XDDD anyways I saw the cloud and pretty much knew the... GAH!

@LuvsTstormTapes OLOLZ we only came to florida 9 yrs ago. and WO sno with lightning that is a rarity! and I can't quite remember storms in '07. Only in 6th grade (which was 08-09) I actually started watching storms. and YA, i remember two days ago last year there was a lightning storm I woke up to. and I got a way better quality video camera for christmas, so my MP increased sixfold. and I still remember that torturous day... welll I am in india visiting family but I will... out of space...
