On May 21, the Year of China marked the end of its yearlong exploration of Greater China's rich culture, economy, and history witha special closing ceremony. Festivities included a traditional tea ceremony, music, and modern dance performance.

The first half of the program features a Traditional Tea Ceremony Performed by the Cross-Straits Tea Exchanges Association from Fujian Province, honoring President Ruth J. Simmons. The second part features Traditional Chinese Music.
