Basic tutorial to recreate the classic double exposure technique with film on photoshop. Also shows some of the basics of layers. This was done on CS3 but it the same on all the photoshops I remember. I did this to help a friend of mine but I thought it could be of use to anyone (thats why its quite formal Fabiana). I do appreciate the picture quality is not great but its the best my webcam can deal with, you'll get the idea though. Enjoy.
@bigasstunes Im having the exact same dilema you mention, but there should be a way to blend layers in witch they behave like film, i just havent figured out.

Nice tutorial, but unlike you said, 50% opacity is NOT EXACTLY like shooting a double exposure on film. If you shoot a double exposure on film, the first shot (base exposure) will pretty much determine what will be visible in the final image. For example, any overexposed part of the first shot (eg. overcast sky) will not "catch" anything from the second shot, thus creating a much cooler effect than with photoshop. (search flickr for user 'danmountford' you'll know what I mean)

At first I thought that my ipod's somehow turned on but than I realized that you have mogwai playing in the background.
Nice video btw, thanks!
