  • Linux is about software development like its cousin Unix. Linux and Unix is the highs advance OS I've used; unlike the user friendly Mac Osx and Windows. I use Linux for production, protection, security and writing programs. That's why I love Linux.

  • @OfficialKohieArts

    Me too! Look:

    /watch?v=tK69NVOKd6Q

  • you do realize that windows can have this as well right? I don't understand why everyone is so focused on these special effects. Linux is a lot more than just a few wobbly windows. It's more secure than windows, it has a package manager, it is completely customizable, and it is free! why do people focus so much on the graphical effects?

  • @supergenius1994

Because that is what people want to use at home.

If you like linux sooo much maybe you will like my other video (from LFS Project):

    /watch?v=27SbWqNg3g8

  • @JethroLuk *sigh* I suppose your right :( but really if all they care about is the wobbly windows,

why go through all the trouble of switching, when all you need is a windows plugin?

  • @supergenius1994

Everything is about performance. On Linux you can compile your kernel, with the components that you will really use, without a hundred of drivers etc and bla bla bla. You dont need to have intel drivers if you use amd for example. You can control what process are running, while on WIndows you always have a lot of process. You can uninstall a web browser and your system will stiil work, not like internet explorer. Graphics has no comparison, Linux is infinitely better.

  • @supergenius1994

And... I use Windows sometimes, but to answer you question "why go through all the trouble of switching, when all you need is a windows plugin?" I say: Because is better to know two systems and have an opinion about each one, and then choose which to use. If it was worth it you can only know after testing.

  • i have never herd of this kind of computer did it just come out?

  • whose music is being played?

  • @JethroLuk that's my point exactly. However if people keep making videos like this, videos that say "this is why I love linux", and then just show you messing with some wobbly windows. Then people are just going to think that that is all linux can do.
