Jeanette seems to have more control in a live setting (at least here) than Wanda or Sheila. I had no idea she could sing.

@roddhunter Oh! She sounds a bit like Sheila. I downloaded it from a blog site. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but I'm sure I could find it again.

Jeanette was in and out of the group for personal reasons and it was her decision.

Does anyone have the live recording of Jeanette singing lead on "Cause I Love You"? It was performed on a TV telethon I was told back in 1980 I believe.

I downloaded a full audio concert and I believe it was the same as this one because Flowers (this) was in it. It sounded like Sheila was singing "Walking The Line". Or maybe I'm just crazy.

EXCELLENT-Finally the infamous show with Jeanette singing Sheila's leads..beautifully I might add.This is the Emotions I remember. That harmony is on point. Thank you 4 posting PLEASE POST MORE!!! :)

Do you have the live video? I'd love to see them sing Smile. I think they performed it on Soultrain.
