Great tutorials. Yeah, the music is distracting. Don't need it. You have a very nice voice and the video is exceptional clear. Thanks for the video tutorials. I am the star in work because of - you!

Hello! I was wondering, to you have any idea how to error trap a date input? I will enter dates on a specific column (complete dates such as 11/05/2010) and error trap if the input has the year of 2011 and not 2010. I know data validation does that, but only if the cell is manually inputted. If the input in the cell is pasted, it does not do that anymore.

@pokwang021 You could adjust the code in this example, so instead of checking for an empty cell, it checks the year in the cell's date.
Or, use a formula in another cell, to check if the cell values are valid dates. If the dates are not valid, conditional formatting could fill key cells with black fill colour and black font, and show an error message.

Great video thanks... Can you either lose the music or lower it? Distracting. :)

@krn14242 Thanks for your comment, and I'm glad you liked the video.
Unfortunately, I can't change the music now, but I've uploaded a new caption file. You could turn off the sound, and just read the captions. Hope that helps!
