Enter Melissa's World, where cerebral palsy might prevent Melissa from running or talking. But God's love is displayed as mightily in her life as in anyone's, through her smile, her intelligence, and even her voice.

I can tell you with absolute certainity that God has a plan for your life that is filled with more power, love, grace, and mercy than you can imagine. He has called you to rely on Him, and in that position, there is nothing more powerful or capable. Seek His will.

  • Thank you all for your comments.

  • Friend:

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Disabilities are discouraging, certainly. We at Elim are joyful that you see, with us, the truth that God displays His strength in weakness. We encourage you to read from the gospel of John, chpater 9, verses 1 through 3.

  • God bless you, Melissa, and your wonderful family! I, too, have a little girl about your age with CP. Like you, she has an unbelievable smile and joy about her the affects so many peoples' lives. I do believe that God has big plans for you, as well as my daughter, Madison. I will have to look into this program. I cannot even comprehend being able to communicate with her!

  • hey i have cp too. i love this video

  • Hey Melissa and everybody at Elim!!

  • Hi Melissa sweety,

I had a dear friend like you. You know she was blind, and deaf, and yet we laughed, we joked and had such fun... I have never seen people as disabled only different. Thanfully, today now being myself fully disabled...

I started the world's first NEWS Network for Disabled people... Please take a look and see how we can reach more people... :)

I know my dear friend would be so proud of you. I know I am. :) Awesome!

  • This was such an inspirational video. I have a disability myself. I am near totally blind, and from time to time, I ask myself why I am blind. But then I see folks like Melissa who depend on such needs as a wheelchair, an ACC device, or any other adaptive to help her with daily tasks that I or other non-disabled persons take for granted.

God bless Melissa and her family. Hugs!

  • Nicely done Melissa. Very inspirational.

  • I also have spastic CP. Same as Melissa's. She is so fortunate to have AAC at such an early age, I had to wait for a while. It makes such a difference to participate in the world. You've done an amazing thing for her! Keep helping us who don't have voices to speak!
