http://www.jamesfreddys.com/index.html In this episode Jeff puts a roof skin on the 1973 Dodge Challenger project. See the Auto Metal Direct Skin from Nicks Classic Parts go on the car. I will show you spot welds, butt welds and the SEM product rust seal applied to the inner structure and panel bonding adhesive used to bond the center structure to the skin..

  • You are like my auto body super hero !! I found a roof for a good price for my skyroof nova ( doing away with the skyroof option) I'm wondering where are the spot welds along the drip rail? I'm trying to keep my spot/plug welds hidden in the window channel drip rail area

  • @KEITHNICKLOWICZ cool dud glad you found the show.

  • I am doing a 72 Chevelle roof skin which appears to be not quite 1/4" short. I haven't really tried yet but can you tell me a way to cope with that? thanks

  • @TheBusterheat Post picks of what your talking about on our Facebook page so I can see what you mean.

  • what if you only have a little rust in the top conner of the windshield could you cut that out and replace it on a 74 barracuda do you have to make the patch panel or do they sell one

  • @bigchev9999 Haven't researched a patch panel for that repair. If it is how I imagine I don't believe it would be hard to make a patch panel. I recommend staying in the window channel if at all possible roof skin patches can be hell.
