Kung Fu - The Legend Continues "The Bardo" David Carradine 3/3

Kane along with the ancient must help Peter find his way back from a netherworld between life and death called the Bardo after he falls several stories and is critically injured.

Kane deduces that Peters pain and hurt from losing his father in childhood is preventing him from healing and wanting to come back and that if he does not travel into the bardo with Peter, his pain will prevent his body from being able to heal and thus, he will die.

They just love each other so much. This is one of my favourite episodes, except that I wish Peter wouldn't sound like a tiger cub, and were made more scary in his "anger".
