@celestialmisanthrope actually no one is sure, the ship in the sonic genesis game(cant remember which one, think it was sonic 2)is called the E G G M A N, and you really need to play sonic generations, it clears up the confusion, i wont spoil it for you.

I actually alternate between Eggman and Robotnik in conversation, and occasionally I'll call him Ivo, but I'll sue if Anyone calls him "Baldy Mcnosehair".
