@sbtbfanatic Several times, I clocked Perris in 45.9-46.0 and Henry in 46.5-46.6. Great anchors!

You guys are witnessing the greatest high school 4x4 ever. Also Henry Thomas who broke the 400 meter record for California high school runners. maybe the nation but I cannot confirm that.

I was on the track the that night they were gettin it our team set a school record and we finished almost 15 behind them! the better race was at the Texas relay with jefferson from Dallas

@CreativeStuffVideo Dude, Edwin Moses was a BEASTLY hurdle runner!
-
Henry's such a drama queen. Harris ran the harder leg by far.

Danny Harris made his move too soon.

Great Race. It looks like Danny Harris made his move too soon.

I remember seeing these guys run the week before at the Southern Section meet! ( I was a freshman in hs at the time)
What was the deal with the dance at the end? WTF!!!
How fast did the Perris anchor run? He must have been around 45 seconds.

That was Danny Harris from Perris chasing Hawthorne's Henry Thomas before Henry pulled it out. The following year Harris won a Silver Medal in the Olympics in the 400H behind a guy named Edwin Moses.
