Nah mate it wasn't out by the airport it was at the Dux de Lux in town, and they were Air National Guard. Rich Carrier and another dude with a Type O Negative tat. Both from New York state.

Haha gutted as! I had a good chat to some USAF crew from these Herc's in a bar in Christchurch recently just before they flew home to NY. Some crazy stories about "Edward Scissorprops" the experimental Herc, diggin out broken down planes from snowdrifts and Jato takeoffs.

Nah...just that I had to get to the other side of the runway. I would have to wait for them to turn back around, and try it another few times, while I freeze my butt off.
