Sorry, this is NOT "letterpress". This is some crafter's take on creating a relief print. Like the potato print you did in elementary school isn't letterpress". Sorry, letterpress uses letters, hence the name...

Where do you get white hot glue? All the hot glue stick 'round here are clear...yours looks like frosting.

This a relief technique, actually called collograph where you create a raised surface instead of a carved surface. Glue works but often the best ones combine a variety of materials and textures. Instead of a stamp pad I recommend a inexpensive brayer and some ink. I think calling this letterpress is misleading. Nothing bad about collograph prints but letterpress printing is very different process and result.

This is scary, the impression is awful. The inking is atrocious. Also where is the press? This is a stamp not letter press.
