You're right; Earthboxes are very, very easy to grow food in. I have 39 of them and have grown lots of vegetables. Once you set them up, just add water and that's it.
The internet its incredible, I had the experience of understanding a person in sign language with her subtitles... makes you think about games like "eye toy" where the video game follow your movements, I think in the future when the phones evolve to glasses or contacts, you will have the capacity understand any language by subtitles!
I think the concept your referring to is called Square Foot Gardening founded by Mel Bartholomew. The mixture is 1/3 Peet Moss, 1/3 Vermiculite and 1/3 Compost and you place a grid on top so you know how many plants to grow in a square foot. Each box is 4 feet wide and 4 feet long. I think it is ingenious and has been around since the 1970s. My bet is that it makes a huge comeback.
I'm glad you put up a video about Earthboxes. I am lucky enough to have a bunch of these. It's true; they grow vegetables effortlessly. Really big vegetables, too. They are worth their weight in gold because you control the potting mix and fertilizer. No weeds, either. You just have to learn about the pests that get on some vegetables. I have grown beautiful broccoli, tomatoes, cauliflower, cabbage and herbs with no work at all; just fill the water reservoir. Thank you.
Iilove the video and checked out the link you described for the golden report. i love the idea. I was going to do square foot gardening, but this seems easier and more water efficient. THANKS!
