Piping Centre is kind enough to post this, and Robbie and Paddy are kind enough to give their blessing to posting it, and all you do is give out about the persons involved?!?
Let's hope they don't read any of this, in the hopes that this isn't the last posting. And that they continue to be willing to give classes at all.
Looks like PG makes a habit of throwing people out of his class!.
Four of us turned up for his class near Belfast, a few years ago, a young whiz & us three adults. Anyway, after getting us each to play a tune he threw us out into another class & kept the young fella, for a class of one!
He might be a good Fiddle player, but as a person, I'm afraid there's a question mark!
Cheapskate! He came from across the Atlantic to teach a limited number of paying students. The ones that should be honoured are the ones on his list that got lessons from him.
Paddy Glackin - walked into his class at Gaelic Roots festival in Boston.. There were 30people in the room.. He said 'Ive got 17people on my list and Im not teaching until everyone whos not on the list leaves!' this despite the fact that some of us came from across the continent to the festival.
instead of being honored that so many people would want to learn from him - he kicks them out.
The tune is "Jenny picking cockles".

Asshat, we were all paying students!
The festival organizers were afraid to have him play at the evening concerts for fear he would be booed off the stage.
Waaah too many students! Waaah..
he's not that good anyway.

There is something eerily wondrous about "Jenny Picking Cockles". Brilliant playing here.
