The bar has 27 leds each giving out about 20watts of light. so slightly more light than a Par56, but with much more movement. Four would certainly stand a chance, but my guess would you need more to be really bright, (you can always dim down). THowever to just light a band perhaps consider some Par64LEDS as well as they are much cheaper, and just use the MegaBarPROs when facing the audience.
