Saxondale is a work of Genius - The DVD set has commentaries by Coogan and the some of the detail that you could watch 10 times and not even see is amazing.
Eg. The women behind Vikki in the office never ever moved. - you always saw the back of her stationary head in every scene. She left the show but Coogan just put Get Well soon cards on her desk for the rest of the series

Cant believe some people on here shitting on this show, its brilliant! One guy even said "its coogan with no script editing??" If you can even imagine for one second that Steve Coogan would do anything without proper editing and hours if not months of tedious rewrites and combing every line to ensure perfection you clearly dont know Coogan. This is a man who thought out his character alan partridge in minute details, even details you will not see in the show so u are delusional...
