BykGrl finishes her bicycle tour of Mt Diablo State Park in Contra Costa County, Northern California, with the final miles to the 3856' summit overlooking the San Francisco Bay Area. Description of the difficulty of the climb for bicyclists. BykGrl uses a Kestrel road bicycle with Terry Butterfly saddle for a minimum of bicycle seat pain and numbness. Don't forget about Mount Hamilton 269 feet higher then this one. The road reaches an elevation of 4125 feet above sea level. it is still part of the bay area. think you can do it? the Tour of Calfornia does use this route. and it is longer as well.

it's preferable to not wear the peak on the helmet while road riding.

Nice videos!!! Living in Florida, my legs don't have any 'hill climbing experience'. The 'Diablo wall' would be quite the challenge!

What's the grade of that "wall"? From bottom up, what's the ave. grade of the entire climb? Will be there next two weeks and give it a try.
