The Genetic Drum Machine

The Genetic Drum Machine is a project that tries to combine the genetic process with percussion rhythm creation.

The music is created through the generative process, which in this genetic algorithm's case is the evolution towards a user created rhythm.

This Project is still in a prototype phase, and is currently being developed by Phil Lopes & Prof. Paulo Urbano, researchers of the LabMag (Laboratório de Modelação de Agentes) laboratory, part of the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon.
