@LiberalJerseyman A Bank is like any other business. Are you so naive to think that the other solvent banks wouldn't come in and scoop up the accounts during the fire sale?!! Let me put it this way pea brain, there is NO such thing as too big to fail. WHY??? Because if there's something to sell that ppl want and there's no one to sell it the SOMEONE will sell it sooner or later! During the depression back in the 1930s banks were limited to national and state scope. Different times now

@chillichomper Are you stupid? Bankruptcy is what magnified the Great Depression. Not bailing out the banks would be like taking out the foundation of a house and hoping that a new one would spontaneously appear.

The thing with voting the bums out is when people vote out 1 bunch of bums, they always vote in a new bunch of bums.

These artists live in a make-believe world, They have no clue to the real world, so their opinions are typically rediculous.
"If a Nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be... if we are to guard against ignorance and remain free, it is the responsibility of every American to be informed." --Thomas Jefferson--
Bankruptcy is the solution here ppl. Don't bail out ANYONE. They will restructure during a bankruptcy selling off those portions that are money losers and shore up those aspects that show promise. This goes for companies AND individuals. A bailout is UNFAIR to all those individuals and companies that played by the rules.
Sure ppl will get laid off but so what? Paying unemployment ins. is WAAAAY cheaper than a bailout.

Who the fuck cares what these people think?
1) They are so uneducated they think a bailout is getting someone out of jail
2) They are so rich they will ride this out no problem and if they run out of money they can do another shitty movie
