Subtitles are coming soon! Anyway, this is my video petition to bring the show Zoom back in production. You can view this video better when you watch it full screen. I want 7 million signatures to recognize the fact to be revealed in this video. Signatures will be video responses. Thanks!! Please check this box for any updates!!
Update (3/5/2010; 8/28/2010): My whole petition is changing its goal. Instead, Zoom will return in reruns with other older PBS Shows: Wishbone, Kratt's Creatures, and Ghostwriter. It will be in a block called Go! Classics. Now you can sign it here:

If you need more info, please read this webpage I made:

Thank you!
Update (5/23/2010; 8/28/2010): I was originally planning a screening in my area for the promotion of my new goal. So, I contacted all the copyright owners (including WGBH for Zoom, of course) who produced work that I would show at my screening. However, a response from WGBH makes me wonder if the Go! Classics Block (see my webpage or petition above for more info) would even exist on PBS or any other station for that matter. In a nutshell, WGBH doesn't own the rights to Zoom anymore; Kate Taylor and her production team does!! Therefore, unless they hire a team to recontact all of these producers, they can't give rights to anyone, not to PBS, not even to themselves!!
So, Here is where I stand:
The older shows other than Zoom I plan to bring back are probably the same way. If they were to come back, the only slight possible way would be if they were syndicated to another station and not re-broadcast on PBS like my webpage and petition say. Rather than give up on my goal altogether, I want YOU guys on YouTube to comment on this video or any other Zoom Petition video. Do you think it should be syndicated, or should it stay on PBS? If you think it should be syndicated, to which station and why? Before I update my webpage or petition any further, I want you to say what you think. Thanks to all who signed my petition so far!
Update (6/30/2010): I will extend the serial format deadline to Tuesday, September 7th, 2010. If there are no new submissions received by then, disneysongtape's idea will win by default.
how did you record that video zoom season 2, i don't know how to do it!!! can you give me instructions how to record a video from pbs!!!?
thomasisatwin 1 year ago
@thomasisatwin I didn't do it recently!! In fact, I didn't even make the original recording. My mom recorded it for me in 2001 when they were re-running Zoom season 2. I just used the tape as evidence to help support my cause. Also, the reason I recorded it from my camcorder and not through my computer is so that people would know it was the original tape and not some manuel edit. BTW, my goal for this petition has changed. Read the description for more information.

hey dude, do you have a full episode of zoom on that video tape? if you do, can you post the whole episode on youtube?
flembagg966 1 year ago
@flembagg966 I do, but the only thing that concerns me about uploading it is copyright infringement. I consider the clip in this video a "fair use" under US Law. For more information, google copyright fair use. BTW, my goal for this petition has changed. For more information, please visit the webpage linked in the description. (I can't post any links in any comments lately, probably due to windows viruses. I don't know exactly why.)
