Strange lol, I want to live in NYC, or at least have an apartment there, I don't think NY beats no tax in Dubai :)
Have you ever been overseas? I've been to Indonesia, Thailand and obviously Australia. On top of that next year I'll hopefully be going to Texas on an academic scholarship.
In that episode Lisa is has a crush on her sub teacher, but the message on the card is still good, that is; be yourself.
I'm on holidays at the moment so I'm just playing World of Warcraft :/

Yeah whenever my mom starts speaking Spanish to someone - usually at a parking garage in NYC or something - they NEVER believe that she's Hispanic at first. It's become something of an inside joke actually!
haha Cheesie is good sometimes =) Thanks!

College ftw! And I never have to take another French class if I don't want to =)
And trust me... after 12 years I don't want to lol

You should learn Spanish. It really comes in handy in today's world.

Identity is personal, you are who you are =)
I am German and Danish, but I refer to myself as a Dane because I have lived in Denmark my entire life.
Though, my surname is German; which i wear with pride because it´s filled with generals and great soldiers, and because my family is the only of my particularly surname in Denmark.
My family keeps the traditions of my military heritage.
So what I am? well, I am a Dane; because Denmark is my home country, and danish blood runs swiftly in me =)
Have you ever seen that Simpsons episode where Lisa is having an identity crisis then her substitute teacher writes "You are Lisa Simpson" on a piece of paper and gives it to her?
You need on one of those.
You don't need to conform to a specific class or race; you just need to be yourself.
I'm having a similar problem. I don't connect at all with Australia, I just want to travel. I think you have to make your own identity as you go.

To be honest, I don't watch the Simpsons lol
But that sounds like a good episode!
Tell me about it! I don't connect with the US, especially not with my area of the US (northeast, near NYC). Travel ftw! I definitely want to do a study abroad program in college and travel even more after that!

Be proud of your ancestry and where they come from because that is part of what makes you special. You don't have to speak Spanish or Italian in order to be one. Instead of looking at what you're not and what you can't do, be positive and focus on who you are and what you CAN do. Life throws you all kinds of challenges and if you're positive you will succeed.
