  • im a overseas cantonese, been born here and everything, can listen perfectly well, but writing's difficult for me. you guys should really specify that this is written chinese being spoken. its formal, and the problem is that nobody speaks like this in real life. at all. AT ALL. except for those learning preliminary cantonese.

  • That's just using Cantonese pronunciation to read out Mandarin sentences!! And there's even no English translation!!

  • This is written Cantonese, NOT spoken Cantonese. Come on man! Get it right!

  • can't imagine how rapid fire sentences with no translation can help anyone learn Cantonese. Also, the only time I've heard folks say "hek" for eat, and not "sik" is with some people I know from Toisahn, a somewhat obscure dialect, so I'd say this is an impossible way to learn Toisahnwah, and not Cantonese.

  • thanks for the video. It would be great if you can supplement some English translation though. :)
