Alex is a great fencer Brits don't suck look at Richard Kruse ranked 8th, though he fences with foil.

surely if you are 'good enough' to go to 2012 you would be fully funded on the pathway scheme along with all of the other fencers, regardless of background. Many of the top fencers work full time and still manage to compete at the top level. If you are an ex-sabre champion and as good as you say you are, which i highly doubt, don't make statements regarding other fencers who you don't know well and you have no real idea about their background or what they give up to fence at a high level!

Everbody talks about the guy on the left side haha. The guy on the right side is WORLD CHAMPION in team sabre in stPetersburg (2 days ago) at the age of 17! He was one of the best of the hungarian team. He also beat Podzniakov 8-3! in the quarter-final :) Keep it up guy(s)!
