Filmed october 25 & 27 from my front yard using a High Def Cannon HF100. I messed around with the settings to put the focus on the clouds. The camera settings list: CAMERA SETUP
PF30 frame rate
self timer off
digital zoom off
AF mode-I.AF
focus assist. off
image stabilization on
A.SL shutter----- SYSTEM SETUP
power save off
quick start 10 min
img numbers---continuous
comp out 1080i
AV aperature-2.8 (camera didn't like it-flashing number)
Manual Focus on
long play 5mbps
Deffect/Image effect-off
white balance-clowdy
shutter speed-15 (1/15sec)
Editing, played back at 9,999x for bright frame, 6,666x for the darker frame
how are you changing shutter speed?

@FlyRoseProductions, I did this a long time ago and nearly forgot what I was doing. The HF100 enables apeture control for each frame in a few different ways, I had just read the manual and decided to play with SHUTTER-PRIORITY.
On the HF100, put it in record video mode, press FUNC., top menu item, select "TV" exit and push the stick up or down to the desired setting, The notation is shorthand, placing one over the displayed setting reads the fraction of second shutter speed unit.outofchar

@FlyRoseProductions, continued, the number you are changing appears in the upper left of the display screen, next to the blacked out "TV" box with up and down arrows. Hope this helped. playing with aperture can be fun.
