Earl "Spanky " Smith was also in Phortune but I don't believe he had anything to do with this track.

Very good post and a great track.

These Jack Trax albums were a god send back in the late 80's. Pretty decent pressing with only 3-4 tracks per side.

Another album only track that should have been released with additional mixes although it would be hard to improve on this. Perfection, thanks for adding :)

One of my favorite tunes of all time...haunting pad on the intro sets the mood for the whole track.

P.S I have the first 6 Jack Trax LPs and would never let them go for any price.

I had all these 'Jack Trax' albums as well as the 'House sounds of Chicago' albums and white labels....etc, etc. Unfortunately i became homeless in the late 80s and a good friend put me up. When i sorted somewhere to live i gave my friend all my House music collection £££s worth. I have regrets doing this now tho :-(

Fond memories, i mixed the album version of this at F2 studios in London one cold night.... Jack Trax 6 that same mammoth session i mixed Fingers Inc - Can you feel it vocal mix and MLK mix as well as 20 below by pierre (phantasy Club) and interesting thing about that was it had two vocal takes, we couldnt decide so we multitracked em both!!! clean and unclean overdubbed in the same mix...
