Well the original street fighter did invent the classic qcf and stuff but snk did more for the fighting genre. SNK created forward and back dashing, super moves, taunting, parrying, dodging, rolling, counter attacks, juggles for 2d fighting. I think there's more. Capcom created the combo counter and canceling but that was a glitch. While street fighter did bring fighting games mainstream SNK did seem to do more. if I'm wrong then go ahead and correct me.
SNK always had the old neogeo PCB limits, cps2 is a much more powerfull and new PCB but capcom never take advantage of it. Like always there is an enterprise that sells better hardware but poorer software and SNK had neogeo hardware but fucked so hard all capcoms with the perfection of his very rich software. Again i tell you im talking about 1995 to 2000 SNK games

you seem so morron.. did you realise sf added american characters vbecause in america they are succesfully but in japan (the true mainframe of power) sf SUCKS! nobody play sf more than kof and a lot of other better games
