@bigjoe You can go to a steel salvage place for the metal. I used similar gauge to 440 pipe which you can see at your Home Depot plumbing section. Good Luck!

all you need is a better mat in the ring

@paintballHI1 The ring has the same polyethylene foam (EVA foam is the most expensive) as you would buy with a ring but I also added a small layer of carpet so it would last longer. I also water proof vinyl which is expensive to buy with the ring. So don't let the look fool you that mat will last longer than most bought ring mats. I have been doing this along time :)
