Those corrupt imbeciles who ran the "Cabaret Card" authority prevented Lord from working lucrative gigs in and around New York because they took his cabaret card away from him. The undue stress this caused Buckley (according to his daughter) led to his premature death from a stroke in 1960. And it was tragic because by 1960 Lord Buckley was just starting make inroads with mainstream audiences as both a comedian and actor. Had he not died in 1960, who knows how far he would have gone.

Wow I love this, but I can't help but notice Groucho's severe undertone of sexist comments toward that chick. "that's one figure of speech right there," "merely a housewife," & "you're so lucky to have this man here to help you." the camera shots mostly avoid her too.

That all stood out to me.
