2 am in subway (1903)

In this early 20th century film A weary beat cop is taking a load off in a New York subway station when a just arrived car discharges two women and an aparently inebriated man. The women might be prostitutes as no "decent" woman of the period would allow herself to be manhandled as these two do by their companion, nor would she be cavorting about in the subway at 2 in the morning. The station attendant gets caught up in their revelry, another man carrying a package arrives and is greeted warmly by the trio, then one of the women hikes her skirts to her knees so the first man can tie her shoe. The cop, outraged at such an "indecent" public display breaks things up and hustles everyone aboard another subway car When a pair of naked female legs pops out one of the windows, the cop storms in, the group of revelers comes out and we see the legs are fakes toted by the second man.
