Story of Squall:
Squall shifts in his sleep, seeing a girl with a ribbon in her hair, saying "Remember" but Squall replies"I can't". He is found by a mysterious girl named Rinoa. When he gazes upon her, he see's the girl with the ribbon in her hair, who he seems to hold a strange attraction. Squall's dreams are plagued with memories of the girl and a battle against one he recollects as Seifer. His memories? He keeps Rinoa close, feeling she is the Girl with the ribbon somehow. Then he dreams that Seifer had struck him....and he felt pain and Rinoa was blotted out by the Girl. Did Seifer make him forget with the fateful blow? He hears Rinoa say the exact words of the girl...then he replies the same. Squall is suddenly bombarded with memories of the girl. Then a dream of Rinoa dying wakes him. At a dance, he finds Rinoa dead on the floor and see's the murderer run off. But he is stopped by someone. The girl. His memories come flooding back. Cloud sent Seifer to kill him, or to remove his memories and when Cloud found Rinoa, realising she was a sorceress, quickly dispatched her. but Aerith helped Squall remember. Cloud faded from existence, and Squall finally had his memories....as Aerith said"You came"

~ Aerith's story ~
As childhood friends, Squall and Aerith had been inseparable. But the world evolved, and so must they. War was beginning to corrupt the world, and to do his part Squall too must join. Leaving Aerith behind.
Left alone, Aerith spent the rest of her days nurturing the plants which grew in the slum church. One day, when the sun was high in the sky, a young man with spiky blonde hair walked into the church with sorrow in his eyes. He looked at the girl as she quietly tended to her flowers. He stood there watching for a while before she turned round.
It wasnt hard, she recognised the eyes. The boys eyes grew soft then hard.
You knew him? she asked him.
He nodded I worked with him.
Excitement grew, perhaps Squall had sent this boy to tell her of his success, nothing else crossed her mind.
How is he? she asked happily.
The boy hesitated then walked over to her gingerly, He died
Dumb struck, Aerith backed awayIt cant be
That night Aerith had many views of Squall, his beautiful face could not leave her memory. Overtime, she tried to forget him. The young boy, Cloud, looked after her, teaching her that life went on. And slowlyit did.
Soon, Aeriths feelings began to grow for Cloud, she knew she loved him, or was it she loved the Squall she could see inside him.
After time, Aerith and Cloud began a family, they had one daughter, Shelke. Abd although Aerith loved her new family, she missed Squall. She wanted him.
It was one evening, Cloud had taken his wife to a Dance when suddenly he noticed Squall and another young woman. Suddenly Cloud realised that the one woman was helping Squall gain his memory. Cloud had to stop her. Mean while, Aerith walked past squall, after so long not seeing his face, she did not recognise him.
Cloud quickly took Rinoa aside and disposed of her before returning to the dance. It was then that Squall saw the dead body, and cloud quickly walking away. Cloud sighed, his plan nearly destroyed by a stupid woman (yeh I made him sexist lol). Cloud turned to see a young man, Squall, rushing towards him when suddenly.
Aerith stepped in front of Squall. His memory flooded back, as did hers, and Cloud quickly made his escape. Aerith and Squall had made it "you came!"
