The Kiss

1914 silent film starring William Desmond Taylor and Margaret Gibson (aka Patricia Palmer). In 1922, Taylor was murdered, and many years later Gibson reportedly confessed to having murdered him.

@AMPFEAST yeah, it amazes me that no one has made a movie on his unsolved murder with so many suspects or the related Fatty Arbuckle scandal. Would make for some interesting material.

Read Sidney D. Kirkpatrick's "A Cast of Killers." It was Charlotte Shelby, Mary Miles Minter's psycho-control-freak mother who killed William Desmond Taylor. Charlotte Shelby--a money-grubbing bitch--not only ruined her daughter's career, but her love life too.
