This is a tribute to the brilliant and inspired Heath Ledger who passed away on 1/22/08 at 3:26 pm eastern standard time. My sister helped with this tribute by picking out the song, helping me with the picture arrangement, but mostly just by sitting next to me. I can tell you, it was hard making this video. Probably one of the hardest things I ever had to do. Between bouts of silent weeping, the anger and depression, and (sometimes) just staring at his picture on the computer screen, it took me all of 8 hours to finish it. The world has lost an amazing person today and it is doubly hard because he was so young and talented. I hope you enjoy this video and find some sort of peace in it. It is my expression of grief over this tragedy.

This is by FAR the best Ledger tribute I've seen to date. I LOVE this song. I first heard it on a Chris Farley tribute, & adored it ever since.
A day well spent, my dear. I'm starting off a brand new playlist with it, called "Only the Good."
But Ledger wasn't just a good actor. He was a GREAT actor, and IMO could have had a 50-year career on a par with Olivier. He was that amazing. And only 28 at the END of it.
That considered, he may have been the best ever. A devastating loss.
