Arthur Hamilton wrote it. Peggy Lee sang it in a movie. I don't know what CD it is on. "Sing a Rainbow" is the title.

I don't even remember when or where I learned to sing it, but I sang it with my children and my students and we all love it. I use this song and my video to review colors with my deaf students.

@glennamcconnell1 And you forgot something that this song was later done by the Dells along with "Love Is Blue". I guess both "Sing a Rainbow" and "Love Is Blue" rolled into one great song.
