Its 2012 and I have not pulled any stops in this review. I believe it is one of my best and that is comparing it to all my others.

I was talking to Steven Price who is a big Doctor Who Fan and who has met the likes of Tennant, Matt Smith, Eve Miles etc. He has also met Classic Doctors and their assistants.

I was talking about Doctor Who and suddenly it was like a revelation things came into my head that made so much sense from The End Of Time. It also made sense of why things are surreal in Matt Smiths Era.

Not all of the credit goes to me though. Matrix Lord 212 has said a number of times about theories mentioned in here.

But certain other theories are my own work.

So it back and enjoy ......

  • Who is the woman at 05:14

  • @TheSamAndrewEvans Verity Newman the Granddaughter or something to the woman that the Doctor met in Family of Blood

  • Oh come on! The TARDIS being destroyed was the production team's excuse for making a new TARDIS console, nothing to do with parellel universes. He crashed into OUR Earth, not parallel Earth. As Rory said; "It's amazing that you've come up with a theory even more ridiculous than what's actually happening."

  • @leopardgeckocrazy thats the whole point it is a theory. A theory is not fact but an assumption. What is actually happening would be fact!!!

  • he asked rose so the audience would know the year.

  • i believe he asked Rose the year because he wanted to tell her she was going to have a brilliant year coz its the year he meets her, that's what i always thought :)

  • a better title would be HYPOTHESIS not theory

  • Actually, it makes sense that he's in a parallel universe because, if you remember, Amy said she doesn't remember the earth moving in "The Stolen Earth". That never made sense to me, but now it does. So I believe your theory 100%

  • buy the writers tale by Russel T Davis.

Davis described how he "parked" the characters like Martha and Donna and wrote the Rose scene out of nostalgia.

It was a clean way to tie up loose ends and leave a clean slate for Moffat to take over.

He also states several times that the "woman" was the doctors mother.

  • I believe half your theory, I think the Doctor tried to see Rose but the TARDIS set him to the wrong place, he tried again but the TARDIS resisted and blew up. I don't however believe the Doctor is in the parallel universe now or else he would have at least gone to check up on Rose, also you seem to forget the fact that he was told about the Brigadier's death, the reason there is a Torchwood here is because there is no Doctor, why would the nurse phone him if he doesn't exist in that timeline.

  • The Doctor can control the TARDIS he just sometimes chooses not to

  • ruddish you stupid man. glad your not writing it cause no one would understand it

  • I do not think that the doctor was going to go into the parrelel universe because he is not that stupid. And I think that he was just leaving earth 2005 to regenerate and then the doctor who writers just wanted to give 10. A big finish so then the tarsus was damaged and went all crazy and crash landed in 1996 to little 7 year old Amelia pond.

  • @TheSamAndrewEvans I looked her up and she had a small bit part in Shaun of the dead (the parallel universe scene where the two lines of people criss-cross/meet). that's where thought recognized.

Also in regards to how could know exactly when?? He's a frickin' time lord!! He works with time...all the time! lol.

tennant plays that stifled emotion thing well.

  • @TheSamAndrewEvans I wondered the same thing!

  • bloody hell you put a lot of thought into the fictional universe of Dr. Who, mate!! prob more thought than one of the screenwriters for an episode. i only saw the tennant Who's and a few old school Tom baker ones. Didn't bother with the rest. Still a great series though!
