The look is ok, but the chalk board is not practical. Imagine wiping clean & chalk dust everywhere! The glass counter over dowel - a cleaning nightmare! I can see a damp towel on a long skinny knife & trying to wipe underneath! Also, who wants to see into a utility drawer. This is kitchen, not a showroom. It will be cooked in and grease will be in the area along with flour. NOT PRACTICAL - that is, unless you DON'T COOK! Sorry, I think you can combine beautiful & practical.
