Street road bike session (head-camera perspective), Charlie Briggs - Summer '09

I decided to bring my head-camera along with me one summery night while out shredding my favourite road course in Ladymead, Guildford.

Wasting red lights, racing cars, out-accelerating people off the lights and setting new local non-motorized speed records... usual deal.

I don't think it really takes much skill to be a dick on the road/out accelerate cars/run red lights.

Riders like you make it more dangerous for the rest of us and before you tell me to go buy some skill and strength (whatever that means), this video isn't exactly a demostration of pure power is it?

I'm afraid it does. And the video is in fact a demonstration of power - I was pushing my drivetrain to the absolute limit with the force I was putting in to keep up with cars, and fitness heavily came into play to keep that going for extended periods. It felt great and was definately worth head-camming. Its nice and easy for viewers like you with bigger mouths than muscles to come along and bitch about it... how about you do better and put the evidence on youtube then talk :)

Course I ride hills, but I'm hardly going to make a video about doing that am I? Would be kinda boring. This video is about going hard in the intensity of the street and traffic. If that isn't your scene, suck it up and stick to your empty trails instead of moaning on my video page. You call me a dick for my riding... you are clearly one of those red-tape afficionados who will happily stop at a red light when there is nothing coming for miles either way
