Son Teaches Himself to Swim 09

I gave my 5 year old son some goggles to wear and he taught himself how to swim after a few minutes. Here are a series of clips from that day. No one instructed him on anything that day. Once he saw how cool it was to see underwater he was motivated to do the rest. Before that time, he would cry or complain whenever water went in his face and had no interest in being taught how to swim. It was difficult to get his attention that day because he was under the water more than he was above!
